Britain approves use of hybrid human-animal embryos for stem cell research

British lawmakers have approved the use of embryos that are hybrids of human and animal cells in stem cell research.  This could help scientists research conditions like Alzheimer’s disease.

Tampa Bay Business Journal
Research scientists at the Roskamp Institute have launched Archer Pharmaceuticals Inc. to help it develop medications for Alzheimer’s disease.
