Brain lesions more common than previously thought

Recently released research indicates that cerebral microbleeds are more common in people over 60 than previously thought.  Those with the e4 allele of the APOE gene, a sign of increased risk of Alzheimer’s disease, tend to have more microbleeds than those who don’t.
